Removing Front Subframe
I have been cleaning and prepping my 62 Skylark for painting. It looks like I can remove the entire front subframe with 3 -6 bolts. Is there any trick to this I may do this really get her clean. Any advice?

Yep.
The following is gone or remove or disconnected: Steering shaft, motor, Trans, Wires, Brake lines. Anything I'm missing?
Is it as easy as it seems?

Ben at BCCP has a disk brake set up that's a breeze to install might want to check it out. Tell him Fred in Oklahoma sent you.

I would like to put 5 lug wheels on it with disc brakes. I'm not sure who to source for conversion.

GM didn't change much through the years. I have 72 Skylark hubs on my car. The steering is our issue but I'm making a bracket for the caliper to mount to

Really! 72 Skylark hubs with 5 lug will fit 62 Skylark spindle that was built for 4. Thats crazy. Thanks
