do a google search for Buick 215 valve covers and a bunch of stuff should come up. Stock and wild.
Mine's a Cutlass and I think the valve covers should be silver with a black pan. The engine on this car was the old Oldsmobile green.
I went with the alum block natural, black pan, and Oldsmobile Gold valve covers like the other Olds engs I've seen. Left the original air cleaner Orange cause it's in decent survivor shape, like the car.
If it's not a show car for originality satisfy yourself.

Never saw them in wrinkle but could be, don't know.
Why don't you post several pictures of various parts of the whole car. Really helpful for members doing restorations.
What is a High Performance 215?
Is that something special or the term they used for the 4 bbl eng on the air cleaner?

Yeah the V6, V8 2bbl, and the V8 4bbl. I think that would be the standard 4bbl engine for the year then.
I think 10.75:1 compression but I could be wrong. My Cutlass was 10.25 at 185hp.
I hope you use Premium, the higher octane the better.
How about some pictures?

I've been trying to upload pictures as I'm sending they go away. my engine has the letter H followed by its number. in 62 there were 2 engines v6 2 barrel and v8H with 4 barrel. in 63 they started 3 choices v6 v8 and v8H

No pics. Kinda involved to attach pics with photo files direct. Gotta send em more than once. I think there's a post on it. I'll go through it and then post some instructions for you. I usually try 2 or 3 times before I get it done.

Go to the "How To" forum. Look to the bottom of the subjects and you'll see "how to add pictures to a for sale posting" or something like that. It has instructions, not sure if they're complete.

OK, here's what I do. Probably an easier way someone else can explain.
1. Go to the icons at the top of the posting space and click on "host and image", it opens a window
2. Click on Select Files , opens a window for you to pick the source of the files. Photos, desktop, etc. I choose my desktop
3. Click on the image/file you want to load.
4. Click on the Upload button in your computers window. Choose more the same way if you want. It will load all the files into the host an image window
5. In the Host an Image window click on the Blue Send All Button
6. Then Click on the White Insert All button in the Host an Image window.
7. It will load the file name into your posting window.
8. Click Preview if you want to see if a picture actually loaded.
9. Send
I think I described it right. Must be an easier way. Someone please help.

I'm doing it from my phone. that's where all my pictures are.. thats probably the issue. I don't have the " host and image" i see a camera, then I get select image button then I follow the rest and it won't send. I was able to on May 3 on my introduction post.. so idk

Re: 1963 215 cu in aluminum V8 engine clolors
Just did the above beautiful picture from my iPhone X. First time using the phone to post a pic. Definitely a different experience but doable. Also, loaded the pic from the library on my phone so it was big, 3.5 meg. On my computer I generally drag to my desktop and it downsizes to a jpeg. Actually a little simpler on the phone I think. Yeah I only have the camera on the upper right too. Hit it, select files, send all, inset all, hit the X to close the window you are using to attach the picture, and then send the message. Just did another post from phone with a pic from my deck.
