Looks soooo nice Rick!
Quick question -- what donor car provided the lower valence on the front of the car? Looks right at home!

Re: 62 Buick Wagon Two Door
That is the bug shield off a 80s 90s chevy hood turned upside down and recurved with a heat gun to make lower air dam. It really was a simple redo just took a little time to make tabs under stock valance welded on so that I can bolt it on and off and replace if needed in the future. Thanks for asking and thanks for compliments. Look to be tuning car a lot in future as I am going to drag week this year and the work is on for that to be as fast as I can with cheap parts.

Unreal! I have seen that car before you owned it. Never in a million years thought it would turn into something like this. Outstanding work.

Stagecat, Well I have been working on car and I have ran 11.50 at 115 but intake temps are to high so I am putting meth injection on to help so I dont destroy motor. Car 60' is great at 1.60. So far not disappointed as I have only ran 7 lbs of boost and want to sneak up on it. Flatfoot, I bought this car from conneticut so I dont know how you would have seen it before but thanks for comment

That's great to hear Rick, if your mechanical skills are anywhere close to your fab skills, you will be in the 10's soon enough.....

Re: 62 Buick Wagon Two Door
Just wanted to chime in with kudos on your spectacular build. I also have a '62 wagon project going, although the only similarities between yours and mine are the starting point and the digital dash. I am completely impressed with your skills, vision, resources and commitment. Your car is a true piece of automotive art.
The two-tone green with orange pinstripe reminded me of a pretty famous Y-body show car, which coincidentally is currently available from Barrett Jackson:

If you happen to have a spare $150K laying around, I think it would look great parked next to the wagon in your garage!
Seriously though, congratulations on a spectacular build. I am supremely jealous.

Re: 62 Buick Wagon Two Door
thanks for nice comments. I have another project for drag week this year but the wagon(cubic) will always be close to the heart. That car was spectacular to drive over the 1200 miles on drag week I didnt want to put a roll bar in it thus keeping me to only run 11.50. I can honestly say I turned down alot of money for the car and I am good with that, as I amtoo old for that to mean as much as it did years ago. Thanks again
