Looks killer rt, are you doing something with the headlights, the driver recesses look farther apart?

Re: 62 Buick Wagon Two Door
No. It just appears that way. The headlight buckets are pretty thick and probably the look of the front spoiler is throwing you off on depth. Should have mentioned on the photos the steering wheel is 2" smaller in diameter, the extended trim on inside for longer side glass, the half round aluminum for finishing off the inside glass around the top, the hidden booster and master cylinder under the dash, the billet taillight with leds, the late model rear door armrest for my power windows, the billet radio delete so I can fill the master cylinder, the inside side mirrors instead of being on the door, and the front spoiler that makes it hug the ground. I've done so many changes I can't remember all of them LOL

Re: 62 Buick Wagon Two Door
Couple of pics as I am moving on. Have got a lot of the interior panels made including trans tunnel covered and all the tubs and rear cargo covered in ultraleather. This part has been fun to do and will add more pics later on. Will keep plugging away and hope to be done by April

Ok, I'll bite......what does CUBIK mean? Is it a acronym, anagram or something else?

Re: 62 Buick Wagon Two Door
It is just a play on letters sort of a anagram. More or less it has more cubic inches than before and every car really needs a name don't you think? Gonna post in wanted but I am looking for the headlight switch connector for wiring as mine has disappeared. Don't know if a later switch has the right size hole for the bezel to screw into but if it does I will just buy a new switch and plugin.

When I was 18 or so I had a 62 DODGE, made it spell out DOG which fit that car. Yeah and some cars deserve names, I suppose CUBIK is more appropriate than BAD MUTHA F--KER.....

Re: 62 Buick Wagon Two Door
I will send some pics in the next couple days. It is getting closer. Will have it going hopefully by the middle of April. Down to buffing, trimming loose ends and revamp of engine for better horsepower. If it all goes good should make 600hp to the wheel by the end of year with good tuning. Right now it is only about 450hp. This learning of new turbo tuning is alot of fun but time consuming for a old guy. LOL Thanks for asking and I am sure that you and everyone interested in this wont be disappointed.

Re: 62 Buick Wagon Two Door
Well here is a couple pics as I have got most of the interior done, and need to wet sand and buff the paint and finish putting orange pinstripe on side that separates dark green to light green. All in all is getting closer as I am moving towards freshening up motor and tranny for reinstall. I must say the interior was quiet the learning adventure for me but it saved me tons of money and everyone here really likes the leather covered panels that are all removable with no signs of screws or tabs holding them. Headliner was first one I had done in over 30 years and it was a huge job for an old guy to do lol. Will keep updated when nicer weather shows up to be able to take it outside for better pics of car.

Re: 62 Buick Wagon Two Door
OUTSTANDING!! Looks great Rick, GM should have built these wagons with two doors but then you would have had to do something else with your time....lol. Are you still looking for a rear bumper?

Re: 62 Buick Wagon Two Door
Thanks for the nice words. I got my seats back from upholsterer and this will be the only thing that I didn't do myself. Thought about buying sewing machine for doing them but cost for nice machine wasn't far off of what I paid him to do them and saved me lots of material trying to learn haha. Will post more up in next few weeks as I plan on having it finished (I HOPE) by end of April

I just wish I was closer so I could come and be a fly on the wall and try to absorb some of the craftsman - this is World of Wheels/Riddler award worthy.
