62 Buick Wagon Two Door

A little bit of a update. Thanks Tom. Still in search of a rear bumper and if all else fails I am going to have this one painted with jewelers silver at a local shop. This **** looks just like chrome and I can fix all the pitted steel after I have it stripped at the chrome shop.

I love wagons. Wish I still had my old '63 Chevy II...

I have had 13 Novas from 62 to 67 and never had a wagon but would have loved one to transform into a real two door like this special and the corvair I did 20 years ago. Probably should post a pic of the vair as nobody ever sees them.

I went to the LA BCA sponsored all GM show on Sun. saw the rear bumper on a '62 wagon, now I know what you meant rt when you said they are different than the coupes/sedans.........

Yea they have a dip in it so the tailgate will open. Have you got a door latch yet.

As much work as you've put into it have you considered just forgoing the bumper all together. Similar to what guys do with S10 blazers? Just a thought...

No. Did you look at the back of car with nomad bars made and custom taillight. I will get one or make this one work no matter how much it kills me LOL

No latch release yet, but a parts car will show up sometime, this project still has a ways to go......

Didnt realize I didnt have picture of taillight change so I hope this makes it clear what I have done here. This is why I want the rear bumper so bad as it will give it I think a great look. The perimeter of the housing will be polished Aluminum and the area around the lense will be painted the color of the car.

Thanks I talked to him but he seems to think he cant sell the wagon if he sells the bumper lol. So I will keep searching and maybe I'll get lucky sometime.

Keeping that bumper in mind when I'm looking for parts, how about an update on your money pit rt?
