A quick "Hello" to everyone,glad to be a part of the forum ! I've had a 1962 skylark convertible for 2 years this month and hope to get it on the road soon. It is definitely a "project" car ! I"m looking forward to talk to people who have hands on knowledge of these cars, and hope I can contribute some useful information that I have picked up in the last 2 years. Engine is professionally rebuilt,2 speed transmission is gone as is the transmission tunnel and most of the drive shaft tunnel and replaced with a 700R4 transmission,(if I had only known). All put back together and with carpet it looks great ! I will post some pictures next time. Good day from northern California,my project beckons me !!!
