My ‘63 Skylark convertible

Just thought I would share some pics of my ‘63 Skylark convertible that was purchased in late February this year. Was looking for a Skylark coupe when this one came along. OK it has two doors and everything else a coupe has except a tin top.

215 cu in 200HP with automatic transmission, power steering, manual brakes and windows, radio, two speed wipers and washers, positive traction rear axle, clock.

Was restored in 2015 but travelled 252 miles until I bought it with odometer showing 66,000. A few gremlins that I have been sorting but is all good fun.

Hey Rodney nice car is the color Arctic White by chance?

Hi, yes colour codes all match C is Arctic white, trim 179 is red vinyl, code 1 is white fabric top (convertible) which is how it was made in the factory. Pleased how the previous owner who did the restoration stayed with those colours.

It was a Washington State car for a long time, the title that came with it was from February 1975 until sold in 2002. The lady that owned it for that time kinda liked it I guess, but it had deteriorated.

Probably holds lots of fun stories too!
