New to Forum, long time with Buicks
Glad to find this forum, I grew up in my parents 64 Riviera they purchased from Grihalva Buick in El Cajon (San Diego), CA. Dad traded in his 1961 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 for it.
There were 3 of us boys so my father had the dealer upholster up some cushions to fill in the gap of the rear bucket seats!
My first car was a 1966 Skylark with a 340 I bought for $650. It was only a few years old, and in excellent shape.
I have had 62 Skylarks, owned and restored 62 and 63 Jetfires, and am a fan of Y-body cars. I presently own a 62 Skylark.
I love how the y-body cars share the roofs, glass, chassis, and even the doors. I have learned a lot about these cars and hope to share my knowledge and also learn more about these great cars.

Yes, still here. And here are some photos of my infamous 62 for those that have not seen it. Its an un-restored car with just 1 repaint in the original color. I have added a hot camshaft, dual carb manifold, exhaust, wheels, and a cool little GSX emblem to the grill for a custom touch. I have all the stock stuff that can be put back on. I had the car for sale because I have to have a project to work on all the time and this car is done.

Thank you. The first photo in the exhaust thread was of the bottom of my 63, original red oxide primer. Heres the top side:

There is so much the same between the 61-63 Buicks and 61-63 Oldsmobiles. More the same then different.
