Hi all! just thought i'd join the forum for tips and such on my skylark.  My dad bought it new in 1962, convertible.  Drove it until 4 kids came along (his words!) and sold it to his aunt, who drove it for probably 35 years, before she passed.  Any way, he got it back from his uncle and then let it sit in a garage for who knows how long!!  Now it's mine and trying to get it road worthy.  Have it at a shop, trying to upgrade and modernize to be roadworthy.  Already filled and redrilled rear axles to GM 5 bolt pattern for larger rims and tires.  Wanting to convert front to disc, also with the gm bolt pattern.  I see the scarebird kit calls for mitsubishi rotors, but they are 4 lug.  Are there any other options for rotors that will work that are gm bolt pattern?  Any help is appreciated.  My apologies if this is covered somewhere else, I didn't seem to find anything.

Hello and welcome Trip!

Yes, you can buy the scarebird kit and substitute 79-85 Eldorado front rotors and 64-72 cutlass/skylark drum hubs and seals for a 5 on 4.75 pattern. Wheel bearings remain the same.

GL w/ your car - please share some pics!!
