Throttle cable
Hi Skylarkers! I am thinking about replacing throttle rods with a cable. There is a very slight bend in the rod mechanism and occasionally my pedal sticks for a second.
Talk to me about the conversion. From pedal all the way to the carb. What parts I need, where to get them and any tips is very much appreciated. Thank you in advance. V8 auto with edelbrock carb.

Re: Throttle cable
A cable will give you the same thing over time. Straighten the rod or I might have one sitting around. If nothing else check the return spring and maybe get a new one or an extra "helper" spring. But to answer your question there are kits to do this I have one on the wagon and it was a pain. Tight bends since the clearance is close even more on mine since I modified the firewall.
