Electrical connection...What is it?
Checking connections yesterday and found wire (with clip) tucked under rear valance. It has power to it, what other light or accessory was at rear of vehicle?

Probably goes to fuel tank sending unit on top of the fuel tank.

Wait.....if it has power to it, be absolutely sure before plugging it into the fuel tank. Is power present only when the lights are on, or only when the ignition is on?

That could be the licence plate light connection, unless you removed that already.

Yeah it looks bad, it should be (we shall see, lol). Just been trying to clean up the mess I bought.
So many things I was not happy with............
Look at rt338b's 62' wagon in projects, the work and that car are bad ass!

I'm pretty sure it was the old fuel sender connection. Have 15 gallon fuel cell in trunk and have another power source.
I have all functioning lights, signals, license plate as it will be street legal and see limited street use....
