wiper motor - non-standard.
Josh,
In your brake master/caliper thread, I notice that you have a different wiper motor than what our cars came with. What is it? I ask as mine is close to dead.

Re: wiper motor - non-standard.
look at the pictures of the other skylarks in the brake thread. The OEM wiper motor has its motor axis perpendicular to the firewall (give or take) yours is parallel. probably off a newer car, my guess.
Yours looks more like this from the tempest manual:
http://pontiac.oldcarmanualproject.com/manuals/1961/1961%20Tempest%20Shop%20Manual/19-Electrical/image39.html
for some reason, the buick manual is not easliy searchable... but it is here:
http://buick.oldcarmanualproject.com/manuals/1962/1962%20Special/index.html
I cannot find a picture in this manual, but from the thread, Mine looks like this
picture of m/c. wiper motor next to it

Hmmm - might be onto something - I can see if I can find a P/N on it. It was on the car when I brought it home and works so Ive never spent much time with it. Based on the tempest manual pic, it very well could be a replacement from Ames or the like. I'll try to pull a P/N in the coming days.
