Sensor location for gauges?
Those of you who have fitted gauges, where did you place the temp sending unit for elect gauge?
And what is your temp on a warm day when cruising at 60 on a level road and when pulling a long hill.
Thanks

I need this info too, but from what I see there is only the one spot that would give an accurate reading, where the light ind sensor is.
Disconnecting it won't leave you wanting, kind of useless when a lite on almost means to late!!!!

Yes I did, I will just replace the original sender and use that location as it will now serve no purpose.

Posted on an interesting diff in temps depending on location. I like having a light and gauge with my location but the temp difference is disconcerting.

Turns out big diff in temps between two locations was actually difference in the two Stewart Warner sensors I had, one being faulty by 15 to 30 degrees depending on temp. Once I determined which sensor was correct and tested locations with that one sensor the large delta disappeared.
