needing arm rests in good shape both front doors for 61 special or if anyone knows where to get repop or anything that will fit send email.

Check out Clark's Corvair Parts. I purchased a pair of '60 - '64 Corvair chrome armrest bases from them and they are identical to the originals on my Buick.

I mistakenly directed you to Clark's Corvair Parts for repop armrests. While the Corvair parts are identical to those used in the '62 Specials, I didn't realize at the time that the Skylark armrest is completely different. My bad. I'm still learning.

Its ok your lead helped me find something that would work. Its not original but will mount up like my broken ones do. Original Parts Group Resto Parts Chrome Armrest Bases DP00029 from summit. Haven't actually mounted them yet so I don't know the final look.
