Interior windsheild trim... Empty Interior windsheild trim...

Post by StageCat Tue Mar 03, 2015 7:23 pm

Well here's another item I need, I didn't notice it was missing until now. The interior trim around the windshield, at the top where it meets the headliner and up the A-pillars from dash. Any leads or help is much appreciated....

Thanks, Tom

If you were closer I would go in halfsies on these (just kidding - I don't have the room nor need the parts, but interesting nonetheless)....

I bet that would have most of the parts you were looking for. Maybe you can call and get some of the parts you are looking for.

I forgot this was near you!! I should have said something yesterday when I saw them. They are parts cars - he said the frames are rusted (I am not sure what the right name is for a unibody, I have called them framerails) and there is a finished '63 in the same city for sale (link above). I am betting these were his parts cars for the one for $5500.

By the way, Craigslist is real easy now a days to find stuff like this. I just put 1963 skylark in there and now it allows you to change cities easy.

It has never done anything for me either. The trim is not the place to do a color separation on this car. A different roof color is one thing- the beltline is a good place to separate colors. but it looks odd below, especially when it is black. I do like the rims though.

WOW!!! These are like 35 miles from me LITERALLY!! ... We just received a 2000 Chrysler Town & Country Limited minivan in near mint condition as partial trade for labor on an auto repair job we did & as soon as we sell it (already have several people interested) and if these are still available I am gonna check them out and hopefully wheel a deal with him and buy them!! I am really excited about this, glad you guys got the time to hunt these deals down ... lol

P.S. They both look like parts cars to me ... lol ... so there should be lots of good parts for everyone!

Keith

Let us know what you find out Keith, you know you can get rid of a few items to some Buick guy on the west coast...lol
