Baby Buick Meet-up?

Just throwing it out there - I have done very little thinking about it. How many people might be interested in a meet up this year yet? Maybe a tech session type meet up or similar? The only reason I bring it up is because there are a lot of folks on here in the Illinois/Wisconsin area. I know most people are very busy so it might be difficult to organize, but it seems like the proximity of the folks on here lends itself to an easy meeting point.

I like the idea, although my Buick still isn't road ready.

I'd likely attend too if we could find somewhere that is a little bit closer to all -- what about meeting near RT66 dragstrip?

Ok guys - Josh was asking me in another thread about a meet-up. I like the Joliet idea, and the route 66 dragway. It looks like they have several weekends called "race your ride" that sounds like amateur drag racing and sponsored by O'reilly auto parts. They also say that there is a "dial in" your ride option (I am sure for a fee). If several of us are interested we could just pick one of these weekends and meet-up, watch some races, then go to a near-by drive-in (there is one called Ace drive-in 7 miles away). If anyone has any better ideas just speak up. We can make as formal or as informal as we want to. Here are the links to the Raceway and Drive-in-

There is one weekend where D'Acy Buick/GMC is hosting a vintage weekend. I would not be able to attend that one as I have committed to Woodward (which is the same weekend), but you guys could still do it that weekend and I wouldn't hold it against you as it would make the most amount of sense.

I'm open for pretty much any weekend that works for those that are a little further out. Let's hear what they have to say and then settle in on something.
