Here’s a good alternative for pulling the pan without a lot of work.

The device you see in place above the eng supports the eng with the rod you see headed down out of sight.
Drag link dropped.
The Suspension side mounts were loosened a little, front mount in place, steering was disconnected at the box, the suspension was dropped very little and supported on a trans Jack.
The eng was raised slightly with the motor mt bolts pulled.
Pan slid out.

NO other disconnections took place. No brake, cooling, fuel, electrical,… was pulled.

Could have disconnected the brake lines and dropped the entire suspension out if we had wanted to.

Professional Device is typically used for front wheel drive cars to maintain the eng in place while susp sub-frame is dropped. Borrowed it from a professional mechanic, probably avail at good rental houses.
Saved a lot of work.
