carbueration.... Empty carbueration....

I've got the hp215 with a rochester 4bbl. carb. I need a new carb. Whats the best advice on replacing this ?

Keith has a good point. IMHO If your carb doesn't have major damage (cracked, severe corrosion) have a reputable rebuilder do a rebuild on unit. Make sure to have throttle blade shafts bushed, a quality shop would include this; of course I have no recommendations at this time a lil research is in order. I'm sure someone will chime in on a replacement unit as you requested tho.

D & D ( another buick 215 parts supplier, forgot to list ( http://www.aluminumv8.com/ )) sells tuned Edelbrock 500 cfm carbs for most of their performance builds. This is what I will be running, my 4bl is abit worn, found a used edelbrock 500 on ebay for under $150.00 shipped. Just not sure what to do about the choke riser piping that is coming off the passenger side exhaust manifold yet.
