After some mock up she fits, but it sure is tight

There was rust like this on both sides, so I had to cut it out and fix it

After sanding down and fixing all the rust in the bay, it wasn't that bad

I've got the short block done, just need new heads. The trans is ready to be built, then I can finish the tunnel. Need to locate a rear end and fit that in, so I can finally put these on

Thank you! I've noticed that we both had to repair some of the same areas, especially where the fenders bolt to the bay.

Nice job YG, good results with the spray paint. That 350 was pretty rough looking, what kind of rebuild (stock or modified) you doing? I like to see your keeping it all Buick.

Thank you. Yea it was pretty rough, but it wasn't locked up and cleaned up well. I'm keeping the motor relatively tame, bored 30 over and i'll put a decent came in it. As far as the car i'm planning on keeping it as close to stock as possible, other than the drive line change. It should fool everyone except for the Buick guys of course.

You put factory labels/decals on it and your right---no one will know. Most other brand Xr's especially Cheby guys don't even know what a Buick looks like......lol
