Can anyone tell me or point me to a site that has instructions for this type of rear window removal. If I keep going I will need new glass that can't be found. Thanks, Tom

You remove it the same way as any gasket glass you just have to put the trim back in before you reinstall the glass. The trim has a small angle on the bottom side that hooks around the  glass in the gasket. Why are you taking it out. Usually you cut the gasket around the glass to expose it. It can be removed but it is a bitch to do. Try lots of lubricant wd40 soapy water anything that will let you get the trim out. Like I said the trim has a straight to a angle that is in the gasket that sort o hooks under the glass.

Thanks rt, I did get one of the side trim pieces out using lubricant which was a real bitch. I realize that I got lucky and didn't want to destroy any trim which is as hard to find as unobtainium. I'll just cut and get new gasket.

After you get the stainless out you can go from the inside of the window gasket and try to feed a thin welding rod or tig rod and poke it to the outside of the gasket then put a small type rope on it and pull thru and using a second person on the outside pull it side to side and push on the window to reverse the method used for installing it. I have done this but it isnt easy and if you dont mind buying a new gasket cut that sucker off! Sometimes there are cars that gaskets arent available for so you have no choice.

Thanks Keith, I ended up just cutting it out and got a new gasket. Now I just need to get window back in without breaking it. If it breaks, I have a better chance of getting plutonium at Home Depot than finding new glass......
