Does anyone know if the chrome power steering pump and pulley offered on Ebay by HOT ROD CHROME will work or is any good?
I contacted them to inquire about pulley size. Theirs is 5.8" and my existing one is 4 1/2". The pump looks like it would fit (saginaw P series) but their listing does not show a 62 and the feedback from them was and when asked all I got back was " we don't list every car the pumps fit on as we don't have the space to do that".

thanks

I would be interested to know too. I think my power steering pump is ready to give up the ghost here soon.

Cool. I bet it wouldn't be hard to powder coat either.

Kieth
I saw where they are also selling the CHROME ps cover only for about $40. I have never taken one apart but from what I looked at, you somehow pull the cast iron pump out of the stamped casing. It looks like it is sealed with an O ring only? With my luck I would get it out and the new one would leak. My pump works fine, I only want the CHROME part for looks only. Does the main unit just fit into the case with a O ring sealing it? Is there any more to it than that?
